The Machine Shops on campus provide Students, Staff and Faculty with quality machined components as well as training on how to utilize the machiniery yourself! We are available year around to help design and fabricate all of your engineering projects.
You can schedule a consultation with a professional machinist to discuss your projects HERE. If you are interested in making your projcets yourself, you can schedule a one on one lesson with a machinist HERE. CNC Machining is also available for projects and student use (after successfully training with a machinist on manual machines.)
The Manual Machine shop offers MIG and TIG welding for engineering projects. There are no welding lessons at this time.
The Machine Shops on campus do not work with wood or soft polymers, such as silicone. The Machine Shops can work with a variety of materials that generally fall under the catagory of metals and hard polymers. Email or walk into one of the Machine Shops for more information.
